Jörg starts with raw steel, cuts with a blowtorch, welds and then forges the iron into a small gem, custom made - in Pittsburgh. The surface is power-wire brushed and treated with wax. The torch natural pitting and the raw cut edges define a rugged appeal. The edges show the heavy forces that acted upon the material during crafting. Our torcs naturally age, darkening over time, while the wax prevents rust. Touching them daily enhances this process. The photos show leather bands, but any neckband material can be combined.
